Institutional Development Plan 2023–2028
SSMS College of Architecture, Solapur has adopted a five-year Institutional Development Plan aligned with NEP 2020 and the Council of Architecture’s quality benchmarks. The plan links the heritage of a college founded in 1992 at the Siddheshwar Temple precinct to its permanent campus at Ujani Colony, Kumatha Naka.
Thrust areas
- Infrastructure — completion of the digital fabrication lab, augmentation of the material museum and climatology laboratory, and a barrier-free, energy-efficient retrofit of studios and workshops.
- Academic quality — outcome-based education with CO–PO mapping, choice-based electives, and a stronger research and consultancy vertical.
- Student outcomes — NATA/JEE mentoring, internships with empanelled practices in Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad, and placement support through the Yuva Career Club.
- Quality assurance — IQAC-led AAA, NAAC and AISHE reporting, ERP-based attendance and feedback, and annual green and energy audits.
